Odisea de Nevado: Paso Fino Mare. Odisea was imported from Colombia when she was 1 ½ years old, recognizing the importance of her bloodlines, correctness and potential, at an early age. An injury sustained prior to our purchase, prevented her from being ridden. She has produced three foals for us, (two Buckskins and one Palomino) all with exceptional temperament and gait. Both buckskin foals sold before they were yearlings. Odisea is an exemplary mother and passes along her gentleness to her foals. She is a granddaughter of Resorte Cuarto and carries the old and highly cherished lines of Aldeano and Impacto on her dam’s side. Super smooth pleasure gait, very elegant, wonderful
strong conformation, sweet people loving temperament,
sensitive, will try her heart out for you. She has had
quite a bit of trail work and loves it. Has been
introduced to cattle and sheep.
She is calm, level headed, intelligent, sure footed, confident and easy going. She will walk, gait or canter in any position in the group. She is a forward horse but is easy to transition between her gaits and back down to a walk. She currently will do best with an intermediate rider.

Mare "Emmy" is a daughter of the legendary
Capuchino. Her dam's lines include Candelazo and Contrapunto.
She exhibits quick-footed Pleasure gait, with the correctness,
power, symmetry and disposition that are so cherished for great
producing broodmares. She produced Frapuchino de Rancho Fino,
High Point West Coast 3 yr old Pleasure stallion. Her 2004
colt shows great potential and brilliance under saddle. Her

Porcelana de las Rosas: Beautiful 2005 Palomino
Paso Fino Filly by Grand National Bella Forma stallion, Ponderosa Coloso. Ponderosa Coloso's contribution is legendary in the Paso Fino breed, not only for his own accomplishments, but for those of his offspring. His contribution lives on, in spite of Coloso's untimely death in 2006. Imported from Colombia, Ponderosa Coloso made his US debut in 1997 at the prestigious Spectrum show, winning the Stallion conformation class. He later won the Grand National Conformation Stallion Championship at the Nationals in 2000. At the 2002, Paso Fino Grand National Show in Perry, Georgia, 13 of Coloso's offspring were shown and they received 13 Grand and Reserve Grand National awards! Of the three of Coloso's yearlings shown at the Breeder's Sweepstakes, more than $10,000 was received in first, second and third place awards. At the 2002 Nationals, it was a Ponderosa Coloso filly that received the highest bid in the Fino Futurity Sale, a bid for "Bailey's Sunshine" for $80,000. She went on to become a champion, herself. Like a top ten music hit, Coloso's meteoric rise to the PFHA Top Ten Sire's List, from his original naming to the list in 2002, steadily rose year after year, and in 2004 and 2005, he earned the 4th place spot in the nation. We are proud to offer this filly to you from this important lineage. Porcelana is a pleasure gaited filly with an upright neck, beautiful conformation and a loving disposition. She is easy to handle. She will be ready to start under saddle in the Spring of 2008. |

allows you to get a foal without the expense of buying a mare,
paying for breeding, vet costs and board. You would have
no risk and no hassles of breeding and foaling out a mare.
You will have your own quality foal when all is said and done.
Select from my outstanding broodmares. I have proof on the ground and under saddle of the quality that they produce. Magic Fire Mako, Mia Chica de Paso Bonita, Christina Seniorita, Tojo de Vison, Flying M Mocha, take your pick. Your foal will be sired by my champion buckskin stallion, El Mejor DLM. See his write up on this web site for his details. So if you are interested in getting a Paso Fino right from the "get go", from breedings that have been proven to produce great Pasos, consider a Customized Foal. You will take your foal home after weaning at 6 months of age. You are not responsible for any costs on the mare (during pregnancy or after foaling) or any board or vet costs on the foal until the foal reaches its 6 month birthday. If you would like to leave the foal here longer, let's talk about special arrangements. If something happens to the foal in-utero or up to 6 months of age, you have the option to shift your purchase to another foal or put your money toward the purchase of an older horse or toward a future foal. (Once a foal is born, the price is subject to change if it has not already been sold in-utero. ) The support package includes: foal imprinting and handling, and attendance to one of the Paso clinics that I host.
